IMPORTANT NOTICE!

The AAPS Journal is now published by Springer Science+Business Media, LLC. All new articles in the Journal will be posted on SpringerLink. Users have free and open access to the Journal’s legacy content, Volumes 1-9, from the AAPS platform.

AAPS Members have free access to new articles by logging into http://aapspharmaceutica.org, and then following these simple steps:

  1. Log in using your member ID and password; please confirm your name is now in the yellow title bar on the AAPS Pharmaceutica home page.
  2. Click on "Publications" in the header immediately below the AAPS logo.
  3. Click on "The AAPS Journal (2008–) – full text available to AAPS members (login required)".
  4. Upon accessing the SpringerLink website of published articles, you should have green boxes next to available data which indicates full access to content.
  5. For the most recently published articles, click on “Online First.”
Please note, issues will be listed on the website immediately following Online First articles.

If you are not an AAPS Member, or, if your institution does not subscribe to The AAPS Journal, we recommend that you complete Springer's "Recommend to your librarian" form and provide to your librarian.

The AAPS Journal manuscript submission and the peer review process for submissions will continue to be managed by the AAPS Editorial Office. Authors should continue to contact the AAPS Editorial Office for support and questions regarding their submission and the peer review process at AAPSJsubmit@aaps.org.

About The AAPS Journal

The AAPS Journal (ISSN 1550-7416) is an online-only quarterly journal publishing reviews, theme issues and research articles in the scope of pharmaceutical sciences encompassed by the AAPS membership. Special emphasis is placed on increasing dissemination of scientific presentations made at AAPS-sponsored meetings, workshops and symposia. Because of its electronic nature, The AAPS Journal aspires to utilize evolving electronic technology to enable faster and diverse mechanisms of information delivery to its readership. The Journal is indexed by PubMed/Medline, Index Medicus, Institute of Scientific Information's Science Citation Index and Chem Abstracts.

Editor-in-Chief, Ho-Leung Fung, Ph.D., oversees an international editorial board of leading researchers in the pharmaceutical sciences. Dr. Fung is Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University at Buffalo, The State University of New York.
