Diabetes is a condition in which the body either does not produce insulin or cannot use the insulin it produces.

When someone has diabetes, they have an increased risk of developing other conditions, including cardiovascular disease and kidney disease.

One of the most common prescription drug side effects is gastrointestinal issues. Drugs that are prescribed to treat symptoms of opioid abuse, such as Subutex, can cause severe constipation, stomach pain, and vomiting.

This effect is often so pronounced that people may need to seek medical attention for treatment of these side effects.

In some cases, people have opted for an alternative treatment for the same condition–such as anxiety–which doesn’t come with this side effect.
